The College of Professional and Continuing Studies at Mississippi State University proudly announces the induction of 13 exceptional students into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi for the fall 2024 class. For the first time, students from the college have earned this prestigious honor, underscoring their remarkable academic accomplishments.

Phi Kappa Phi, the university’s premier honor society, celebrates excellence across all academic disciplines. Membership is by invitation only and is extended to juniors ranked in the top 7.5% of their class and to seniors and graduate students ranked in the top 10%. This distinguished honor serves as a lifetime achievement, offering inductees recognition and opportunities both nationally and globally.

“It is a tremendous honor to see our students recognized in such a prestigious way by Phi Kappa Phi, a society with a storied legacy of academic excellence,” said Associate Dean Owen of the College of Professional and Continuing Studies. “These inductees embody the hard work, dedication, and resilience that define our college and its commitment to fostering success among adult learners. Their induction is not only a personal achievement but also a testament to the impact of lifelong learning and professional growth. We are incredibly proud of these students and eager to support their future endeavors as they carry this distinction forward.”

The Mississippi State Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi has consistently earned the Chapter of Excellence distinction from the national organization, further emphasizing the value of this accomplishment. These students now join a proud tradition of academic distinction, embodying the College of Professional and Continuing Studies' dedication to supporting adult learners in their pursuit of success. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these students and look forward to seeing their continued contributions to our community and beyond.
